The Tone Dogs was a project founded by Amy Denio, Fred Chalenor, and Drew Canulette in 1987. Original drummer Matt Cameron
left when Soundgarden got signed. Henry Franzoni replaced him from 1988-1989 on the 1st European.tour. Will Dowd replaced Henry in 1990. Courtney Von Drehle was also in this quartet.

This is just the best record. Kind like a cross between Henry Cow and James Chance. Intensely complicated music that is completely dancable (as I did in 1983 in the Reed College SU). Thanks to Henry and thanks to Fred (An amazing talent off to the land where it is always summer).
